AI Project

You might have heard about the AI that answers your questions, write content, and can even code. And if you’re creating written content, you probably asked yourself:

Should I use it for my blog or social media?

It’s a legit question, and I have asked myself the same. Here’s my opinion on it.

Because I want to be up to date with important things that are happening in the marketing sphere, this caught my attention.

Some of the positives:

  • It will improve your writing and save you A LOT of time otherwise spent outlining a blog, researching and writing.
  • It can give you a different perspective on the subject of your interest.
  • It can help you brainstorm ideas.
  • Helps you eliminate writer’s block.

Some of the negatives:

  • Being a nascent technology, you cannot rely 100% on it as it will make mistakes (make up information that doesn’t make any sense).
  • If you let the AI do all the writing for you, on a subject you know nothing about, It will make you seem unknowledgeable (at best).
  • You never know how AI-written content will be seen by Google in the future. Now, Google penalizes low-quality content because they want to show relevant answers to your questions. But because we’re talking about Google Corporation, it would not surprise me if they decide to ban this sort of content overnight, leaving you very exposed.

(I know, smart question🙂)

But now the AI knows there is no such thing, in other words, it has evolved.

What is the AI project?

I’ve made a brand new website in a niche I don’t know much about, but I have an interest in. And I plan on populating the website with content written by the AI based on keyword research done by me.

Here’s how I do Keyword Research.

Because this might very well be a shiny object, I am allocating a couple of hours per week to it.

Worst case scenario, I will lose a bit of my time on it. If it turns out to be something worthwhile, then I’ll be educated on the subject. Win-Win.

And I advise you to do the same. If you started writing, stay on the course you have already set and allocate a small percentage of time experimenting with this. Don’t let Shiny Object Syndrome get the better of you.

Another reason why you should continue writing the content yourself is because that’s how you learn and grow into a knowledgeable individual. It’s how you develop into someone that can express their ideas clearly and concisely, a damn superpower.

Plus the unique feeling you get when you create something with your own hands from your unique mind. It is fulfilling, to bring something into the real world that once only existed in the realm of your mind.

I will keep you updated on the AI project.
